Catherine Renee (Norton) Plunkett

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine Renee Norton-Plunkett, a beloved mother, daughter, sister and grandmother on April 3, 2025, at the age of 60. Born in Milton, FL, on October 15, 1964, Cathy was a resident of Apopka, FL, for over 50 years, and graduate of Apopka High School class of 1982. Cathy is predeceased by her Father, Curtis Wayne Norton, Sr. (5/17/2013); survived by her Mother, Norma Lou Staley, Siblings, Curtis Wayne Norton, Jr. and Susan Kay Norton, children, Caitlin Gerow, Amanda Plunkett, Norma Jean Plunkett, grandchildren Evelyn, Ryall and Neva, Nephew Christopher W. Norton; Step-mom, Nancy Norton, Step-sister, Terra Michelle Merrell, Step-brother, Troy Allison Townsend, and many, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, also her beloved dog, Minnie.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 4:00 PM at Zellwood United Methodist Church, 5538 W. Jones Ave., Zellwood, FL 32798, with reception to follow in the fellowship hall.
