My fondest memory of Dale was when he jumped in his pool to save a gopher tortoise that had fallen in, it was cold out at the time!

Mary Jane and family, I am so sorry you lost your beloved Dale. He was such an intelligent, friendly, helpful gentleman. He seemed so healthy I am shocked that he is gone. I will keep you and your loved ones in my prayers.

I have so many great memories with my dad. From bike rides and hiking when we were kids, to beach trips and "disliked at the time" but much needed help with homework in high school, to Friday night dinners out and nice talks when I grew up. My dad was just the best. I miss and love him so very much.

Dale was a special older cousin who as a teenager put up with his younger cousin and was always kind. I was always impressed with his intelligence. Always wished we could have stayed in contact as adults. His family is in my thoughts and prayers

Even though he is not my biological father, I have never consider him anything else other than a father since the day he decided to take my sisters and I into his home 29 years ago. I will be forever grateful and because of his love, I have found a husband that had sooo many of his wonderful traits. I will miss you Papa!
