Duane Edward Dilly
Duane Dilly, 78 passed away peacefully in his home December 23, 2021 in Altamonte Springs. He was born August 6th, 1943 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, the son of Bernard and Bessie Dilly.
Duane graduated from Parkersburg Highschool. A year after graduation he made his Journey to Orlando, Florida. He started his life long career at Merita Bakeries and soon after met his wife of 57 years Wanda. Duane and Wanda were blessed with three children Steve, Melissa, and Scott.
Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Dean and Richard. He is survived by his wife Wanda Dilly, children Steve and his wife Cheryll Peacock-Dilly, Melissa Colee and her husband Jason Colee, Scott and his grandchildren Brandon Dilly and his wife Gina Dilly, Amanda Dilly and Michael Dilly.
A service of remembrance will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 with a viewing at 12:30 and the service will begin at 1:00 at Loomis Family Funeral 420 W Main St Apopka Fl 32712. The graveside service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens 3229 SR-436 Apopka Fl 32701.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
