Ms. Lidia "Lilly" Rodriguez

Lidia "Lilly" Rodriguez, of Apopka, Florida, passed away on January 15, 2025. Born in Orlando, Florida, on September 12, 1998, Lilly’s life was full of love, compassion, and dedication to her family and friends.

Lilly leaves behind her precious daughter, Yanexi Nevaeh Torres, her fiancé Tony Torres, and a loving family who will miss her deeply. She is survived by her parents, Rosa (Alberto Alvarez) Palacios and Jesus (Maria Coronado) Rodriguez; her siblings, Manuel Ortiz, Ismael Ortiz, Ilda Hernandez, Andrea Muro, Jesus Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez, Nayeli Rodriguez-Palacios, and Oscar Rodriguez; her grandmothers, Lucila Rodriguez and Graciela Flores; and her best friend, Raquel Ortiz.

Lilly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jose Cruz Palacios, Lucia Morales, and Jesus Rodriguez-Hernandez.

Lilly was a devoted mother, and her daughter was the center of her world. A stay-at-home mom, Lilly enjoyed decorating her home, often with a candle burning to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She was known for being the peacemaker in her family, always going above and beyond to offer help with an open heart and a kind spirit.

She was a family-oriented person, taking joy in spending time with loved ones, where she was always the light at all gatherings. Lilly had a passion for dressing to impress, pink being her favorite color and she found comfort and joy in simple pleasures, such as playing Lotería with her family and friends. Her love for animals, particularly her farm animals, was a testament to her nurturing and kind nature.

Lilly’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she so freely shared with all who knew.
