Comforted by her loving husband, Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Dewar went to be with out Savior Jesus Christ on September 7, 2017. All who met and knew Libby, knew she heard the sought-after-words of "Well Done my Good and Faithful Servant" on September 7th. Libby was born in Anthony, Florida on June 18, 1931, the daughter of the late Marvin and Mary Chapman. Libby was the faithful and loving wife of Alex Dewar for over 63 years, their marriage a blessing and to all who met the couple. Whether it was her dedication to tending to the babies in the church nursery or her baking brownies for a family that had a need, those who knew Libby remember that she possessed a caring and giving heart. In particular, she had a very special place in her heart for anyone who had suffered pain or misfortune, irrespective of the circumstance which gave rise to the situation. Libby and Alex met as students at the University of Florida and after marriage in 1954, embarked with him on a tour of duty in the U.S. Army.
