Our Sweet Angel has gone home to be with the Lord. Devyn Caven passed away early

Monday morning surrounded by her family and loved ones in the home she shared with her mother, sister and her puppies Luna and Lexi.  Devyn battled with severe health crisis since birth and succumbed to respiratory failure at the tender age of 24.

Devyn had an unselfish and highly compassionate way about her that often appeared in her love for animals. She had an innate ability that made her extremely sensitive and empathetic towards the plight of helpless animals who relied on people for their care. One of her many ambitions was to own many acres of land and rescue every animal that needed saving.  Her fondest and most joyous times were spent with her puppies Luna and Lexi, a pair of teacup yorkies. She was very passionate about capturing their characteristics and expressions through her paintings, photography and writings.  Devyn was very conscientious, truly ahead of her time given the trials she faced, her insight was always thought provoking and valuable. Devyn enjoyed sketching, drawing and really loved painting. Great care was given to her works of Art.

Devyn truly loved the Lord and would spend hours of devotion in the Word by reading her Bible and writing Bible verses.  Her faith was unwavering as she held close the promise of the Most High that her life would not be in vain and her soul would go on forever.  Devyn is a bright light, one that continuously shines the way toward compassion for all living things, and respect for everyone she came in contact with. Her soul is a vibrant light that will continue to shine and be a beacon of hope. In life, we face many trials and through them all there is still HOPE.
