Another Journey Began
Often times we wonder why our loved ones have to leave,
saddened and confused family and friends
are forced to mourn and grieve.

However, Alex left this Earth doing what he loved to do
driving trucks & making provisions for his family
as well others too.

He was a proud father to Alexis, Alex Jr. and Alyia
who was conceived by Kim
He precedes his parents Sheryl Allen, Wallace Senegal,
sister Lisa, her mate Pat in passing, so please
continue to pray for them.

Alex touched the lives of his Aunts, Uncles & cousins
so many to begin to call
from Louisiana to California; never forget
he loved you all.

Due to his closeness with his niece Jasmine
many thought she was his seed, Jordean your uncle
wants the best for you
so to wisdom always heed.

We know not the day or hour when our time here is
done, but we must always remember
our spirits only travel back
to whence they’ve come from.

Yes our hearts are heavy for we’ve lost
a family man and friend, even though this journey’s
over, a glorious one began.

I know it’s hard to say goodbye, to rejoice
or believe this pain will cease,
but do know for certain…
Alex isn’t suffering, He’s in the arms of God
resting in sweet peace.

    Alex I remember us growing up as teenager's you always bugging me. Then I remember u coming to one Ike's reunions and you apologizing for all the teasing growing up. I will miss u my friend.

    I remember when Sherryl's 2 little kids became a part of our family. He used to call his sister, " Lily", instead of 'Lisa'. He was the sweetest little boy, and I thought of them often. Even though circumstance and distance separated us, they are still my niece and nephew, and there is a hole knowing he is no longer with us. Rest in peace Alex & my prayers go with your family and, especially, your children.

    Dear Alex, MY Buddy!!!! You were a Wonderful Person, nice personality always had me laughing, but most of all you were my Best Friend Boo's Man!!!!! I remember we used to go eat at Sizzler every week, riding in the beige Nissan Truck with Boo sitting in the Middle all up on you lol, and we would just be rolling down Baseline. Just so many memories, I am going to miss u Buddy!!!! I know ur in a better place now watching over your cute kids!!!!     Alex i remember we went swimming and Paris was only 6months and you wanted me to put Paris in the swimmming pool to see if she can swim. You told me you heard all babies could swim. I told you no and we find out if babies swim when you have yours. Alex i forgot to ask you did you put your baby in the pool to swim lol.

    I know Alex was a good close friend of yours. The friendship we shared was nothing compared for the love you guys had for one another..I just want to say that i truly miss you, and i hated to not get a chance to spend with my coisins when i was in dallas..Im not quite sure wher I went wrong in our relationship..I do take full responsibility. But what i do know is lifes to short your kids. "Wow", i never seen them, or Randys or becky.. And Why.. Bri'ana just graduated.. My Aunt Your mother, is gone..And who would have ever tjought that our kids would b grown and we would have so much distance between the families..All im saying baby is " I LOVE AND MISS ALL OF YOU GUYS, YOU WERE APRT OF MY LIFE" AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT RIGHT.I DONT WANT TO LEAVE THIS WORLD AND WERE JUST NOTHING TO EACH OTHER..I DONT THINK EVON WOULD WANT THAT.     Family is the most important thing in life out side of breathing…Its very important to spend as much time as possible, we wake up and take life for granted just assuming that were going to see one another again one day..Why? Who told us that? No one said we would see our children when we come home from work that evening..Why? Are we so selffish to not care enough about our family..Not someone we chose.. But someone GOD HAS CHOSEN FOR US.
