Alexander William Tucci, 79, of Apopka, Florida passed away on November 28, 2023. Mr. Tucci was born on January 16, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Filmore and Myra Tucci. He is preceded in death by his daughter Rachel Tucci and siblings James Tucci and Michael Tucci. He is survived by his loving wife Dawn Tucci; children Angel Tucci and Vicki Tucci Lock; brother Phil (Donna) Tucci; K9 companion Nina; as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends. He’ll be dearly missed.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

Such a loss for the family. He was a strong influence on me as a child and teenager. I so admired him. To my cousins, remember him as the cousin who all of us knew for he was the oldest.
