Andrew “BUBBY” Bennett, Jr., 18, of Sanford, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013. He was born August 22, 1995 in Leesburg. Mr. Bennett is survived by his mother, Bobbi Jo Hunsicker Meyerhoffer of Sanford; stepfather, Joe Meyerhoffer; brothers, Joseph Meyerhoffer, Brandon Allen Meyerhoffer, Brandon Lee Meyerhoffer and Matthew Meyerhoffer; sister Megan Meyerhoffer; maternal grandparents, Robert I Hunsicker, Jr. of Mt. Dora and Darlene Hughes of Apopka; great grandmother, Eileen J. Hunsicker of Mt. Dora.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
