Barry L. Brown, 61, of Apopka, Florida passed away on Monday, May 08, 2017, after a courageous fight with lung cancer. He was born October 13, 1955 to Joseph Brown and Louise Novotny in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Barry was a very loving and caring husband, son, brother, father, and grandfather and even more so, a best friend.
A machinist for over 30 years, Barry was most recently employed as a Senior Model Maker at Lockheed Martin in Orlando, Florida. Prior to that he worked at Northrop Grumman in Apopka, Florida.
He is pre-deceased by his father, Joseph Brown and father-in-law, Theodore Mc Hale.
Barry is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Mc Hale Berg of Apopka, Florida, his mother Louise Novotny Maben of Hermitage, Tennessee, his brother and sister-in-law, Joseph Brown and Ginny Brown of Levittown, Pennsylvania; sister Louise Brown of Old Hickory, Tennessee, Elizabeth Maben of Hermitage, Tennessee, Vickie Harrison of Old Hickory, Tennessee, and his children Heather Brown of Apopka, Florida, Holly Brown of Apopka, Florida, Sean Oakley (Lindsey Oakley) of Apopka, Florida, Carolyn Zuclich (Bobby Zuclich) of Apopka, Florida, Brian Berg of Troy, Alabama, and Nicholas Berg of Gainesville, Florida, his grandchildren, Allison Zuclich of Apopka, Florida and Andrew Oakley of Apopka, Florida, his mother-in-law Theresa Mc Hale of Longwood, Florida, sister-in-law Maureen Mc Hale of Longwood, Florida and brother-in-law Craig Glenn of Longwood, Florida.
Barry will be greatly missed by all for his kind personality and generous spirit. He will always be in our hearts and memories.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 1:00 PM at 707 Blue Lake Dr. Longwood, Florida 32779. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to American Cancer Society.
