Billy Dalton Dixon Jr., 67, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on January 2, 2022 after complications due to an aneurysm.
Billy was born on February 28, 1954, to Billy Dalton Dixon Sr. and Gladys Irene Dixon, in Bellhaven North Carolina. He grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with siblings DruAnne Temple and Doug Dixon. After completing a General Education Course, he went on to serve the United States Army from June of 1971 to July of 1973.
When Billy returned home he studied the trade of carpentry, and excelled at the trade. As an entrepreneur who took pride in his projects, he pushed beyond the limits of working for a company, and went on to open several of his own construction businesses. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters.
Billy Dalton Dixon Jr. would go on to have 4 children, Billy Dixon III, David Dixon, Angela Branch, and Stephanie Hanchock. Billy was a wonderful and devoted grandfather, and great grandfather. When Billy wasn’t working in Orlando and surrounding areas, he could be found enjoying any of his many hobbies that presented a competition. He had such a competitive spirit and looked forward to the next challenge. These included dart leagues, pool leagues, bowling leagues, cornhole tournaments and poker tournaments. As an avid poker player, Billy even featured in several poker articles and magazines.
Billy was predeceased by Billy Dalton Dixon Sr. and Gladys Irene Dixon. He is survived by his sister DruAnne Temple, brother Doug Dixon, children Billy Dixon III, David Dixon, Angela Branch, and Stephanie Hanchock. Grandchildren, Ashley Hauschild, Devan Dixon, Justin Dixon, Jarrod Dixon, Jasmyne Antrim, Mavrick Hanchock, Dimetrius Dixon, Tyler Branch, Kayla-Anne Branch, and Collin Michael Dixon. Great-Grandchildren include Mia Romero, Laylah Acosta, Logan Hauschild, and Ben Hauschild.

Sorry to hear about your dad billy Ray, I worked with mr Dixon here in va beach, outstanding person, he would help me work on my pickup truck when it was broke down. He will be missed.
