Bobby Gene McKinnon, 62, of Orlando, FL passed away on October 5, 2020. Bobby was born on September 29, 1958 in Columbus, GA. to Patricia and Craten McKinnon, the 2 nd oldest of four siblings. He moved to the sunshine state in the 80’s. Bobby graduated from Colonial High School in 1976.
In 1982 Bobby married the love of his life Paula (Thomas) McKinnon. They just celebrated 38 years of marriage. They loved to travel together and enjoyed trips on their boat and hanging out at the hunting club. They both shared the love of animals and many dogs and cats were lucky to be adopted into this family.
A self-employed entrepreneur Bobby liked being his own boss. He established a pressure washing and supply business in Orlando. He was also well known for his wheeling and dealing in anything he could trade or sell. Bobby believed in God, his Country, and all the freedoms we enjoy in America. Hunting, boating, and outdoor activities were a big part of his life. Bobby was an avid Dale Earnhardt NASCAR racing fan! He loved to laugh, tell a good joke and have a good time. On the outside he was a little prickly and gruff, but all his friends and family knew he had a tender heart of gold. He was always willing to do anything to help someone out. Bobby loved his wife, family, and friends very much and was not ashamed to tell them.
He was preceded in death by his father Craten McKinnon, sister Kathy (McKinnon) Wissinger, and brother Victor McKinnon and survived by his mother Patricia McKinnon in Columbus, GA brother Carl McKinnon of Orlando, wife Paula McKinnon and many loved ones and friends.
