Bobby Lee Horne, 80, of Apopka, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014. He was born July 16, 1933 in Bay Ridge, Florida. He was a Lineman for Orlando Utilities; a lifetime member of the NRA and a member of the Dale Earnhardt Fan Club. Horne is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne Horne; sons Ronnie of Tennessee and Mark Allen of Apopka, Florida; sister Frances Beavers of Winter Garden, Florida; 2 grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
