Carl Jackson Huggins (Gramps) lived a blessed life of 92 years. He was born and raised here in Apopka. He always called it the “Big Potato”. On November 10, 2023 God sent his Angels to come and take him home. He passed peacefully surrounded by all his loved ones. He was a one of a kind man. God broke the mold when he created him, there will never be another man like him. He loved his family, loved his friends and he loved GOD. He was the glue of our family. He has now joined his mother Alvie, father Phillip, three brothers Jimmy, Bill (Doris) and Bobby (Wynette); as well as many others who passed before him. Carl is survived by his sister Gladys; daughters Angel (Buddy), Deborah (Tom), Penny, Carolyn (Jimmy) and Janice; sons Phil (Janice), Danny, Jackie (Ashley); 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; as well as an abundance of other family. We will miss him dearly but we know he is walking those streets of gold.
