Carmen George Paris – dedicated father, son, grandfather, brother and friend – passed away in his sleep at the age of 51 at home in Apopka, FL on August 23,2022.
Carmen is survived by his children Jacob, Nicholas, Emily and Dominick his four grandchildren, Marleigh, Bryson, Jaxon and Braxton; His mother Sharon, his brother James, his sister Rebecca (John), many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends and his basset hound Bear. Carmen was preceded in death by his son Carmen jr, his father James, his grandparents Carmen and Betty, George and Blanche.
To honor Carmen’s memory, we are holding a celebration of their life on September 3rd at 11 Am at Thrive church located at 951 N Park Ave Apopka, FI 32712 We invite anyone who knew him to attend and remember his life. We ask attendees to wear bright colors as we all know Carmen loved to dress up and be the life of the party.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
