He is survived by his children Charlie Pat Herd, Michael Herd, and Christine Herd; siblings Dwight Herd, Maxine Wirick, Rosie Sharp, Ruthann Tallman, Junita Ely, Janet Watlsine, and Carol Ann Curtis; 5 grandchildren.
