Charles G. Closser, 89, of Apopka, Florida, passed away on March 14, 2015. He was born June 06, 1925 in Frankton, Indiana. Mr. Closser is survived by his children Bruce (Linda) Closser of Berrien Springs, MI, Sharla (Don) Boger of Lakeland, FL, Milton (Judy) Closser of Eustis, FL; siblings Virginia Dunder of Cicero, IN, Franklin (Lois) Closser of Orlando, FL, Darlene (Gilbert) Cox of Anderson, IN; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
