Christopher James Merwin, “Chris”, age 19, of Altamonte Springs, Florida, died suddenly on February 5, 2017 in a motor vehicle accident.
Chris was born June 6, 1997 in Winter Park, Florida. Chris was a 2016 graduate Lake Brantley High School. He worked at Wawa, Inc. in Altamonte Springs FL, and was planning to attend the Orlando Plumbers and Pipefitters apprenticeship program. Chris had a passion for cars and all things car related. He was also an avid baseball player. He loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother and father, Sandra and Michael Merwin of Altamonte Springs; two brothers, Luke Merwin of Orlando, FL and John Merwin of Altamonte Springs, FL; grand-parents, Susan and Dominick DeLeonardis of Bradenton, FL, James and Veronica Cordaro of Levittown, NY, Barbara Holland of Wallingford, CT; and Sterling Merwin of New Haven, CT, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be forever in their hearts and loved.
Visitation and service will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Journey Christian Church, 1965 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Apopka, FL. Pastor Randy Green will perform the service.
