Conrad S. Pellegrino, age 88, of Apopka, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013. Born on March 22, 1925 in Bronx, NY, he moved to the Central Florida area eighteen years ago. Mr. Pellegrino was a Catholic and a business owner. He served in the US Navy.
Mr. Pellegrino is survived by his loving wife, Dorothea Pellegrino; children, Richard Pellegrino, Christine Hasiak, James Pellegrino, and Thomas Pellegrino; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

Grandpa we hadn't seen one another in many years. I always loved you very much and it breaks my heart that I will never have the opportunity to tell you exactly how much I do love you. I remember when I was little making pizza with you in your kitchen when you still lived in Queens, i loved every moment of it. I loved spending holidays at your house. I have very fond memories of you. You'll always be in my heart.
