It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel J. Kulics, 66, of Apopka, Florida, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, after a short battle with cancer. Daniel was surrounded by his loving wife and best friend, Jane, and his children, Ryan, Jill, and Amanda. Daniel retired seven months ago from his 31-year career with Walt Disney World, prior to which he had worked at U.S. Steel in Lorain, Ohio for 17 years.
His heart had no boundaries. He was hard working and had a passion for helping all those in need but especially had a soft spot for seniors. There wasn’t a project too big to handle. He lived every day to its fullest. He loved to travel and was excited to retire so he could do more of it. He really enjoyed getting away to the family’s cabin in the North Georgia Mountains where he was always working on yet more projects. The great outdoors was his passion. Daniel’s first love and pride and joy were his family. He loved them so very much, and he was so very loved by them.
Daniel is preceded in death by his mother, Gladys, and his father, Stephen, and his mother-in-law, Lynette. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Jane (Majesky) of Apopka; his three children, Ryan (Dana Bateman) of Apopka; Jillian (Robert) Baxter of Apopka; and Amanda (Robert) Overall of Longwood; his grandchildren, Katlyn, Grace, Reagan, Sophia, Reed, Allie; and step-grandchildren, Jordan, Matthew, Brianna, Bailey, Blaze, Brooklyn, and Blaire. His brother, David (Kay) of Jordan, Minnesota; Aunt Margaret Hulme, and cousins, of Staffordshire, England; his father-in-law, Aldoph Majesky of Lorain, Ohio; his brothers and sisters-in-law Tim (Arlene) of Lorain, Ohio; Joni (Jake) of Glendale, Arizona; Joyce of Lorain, Ohio; Tish of Dahlonega, Georgia; Joe (Monica) of Amherst, Ohio, and his many, many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, November 30, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church, 1020 Montgomery Road, Altamonte Springs, Florida.
