David Harvey Trembley Passed: January 9, 2017 @ 11:45am Born on November 5th, 1949 in the farming community of Colfax, IL to LaRue and Mildred Trembley. Raised with three brothers, Gary, Bob and John. Loved being raised on a farm. It was hard work as all of us boys worked as a family to see that all the chores were done. Particularly liked combining as a young boy working at night where the moon was showing us the way. Have many happy memories of fun, mischievous and sometimes a little reckless times with my brothers. Love you guys! I have two wonderful sons from my previous marriage. Mike and Marc who are loved more than they’ll ever know. We are so proud of the way they live their lives. Mike and Charri have given us two awesome grandchildren, Ellysse and Cullen, who we have spent time enjoying the Disney parks, which is one my favorite things to do. I pray for Charri daily that her cancer is cured. Marc has given us three awesome grandchildren, Matthew, Teagan and Grace. Each is unique in their own way. We have not seen as much of them but know they are all happy as a family. So grateful to have you kids and know that I love you very much. My brother Gary was responsible for introducing me to Lynn. We dated for six months and were married April 16th, 1976 at the Peoria County Courthouse. We spend a lot of time moving around. We lived in Dallas, TX; Ft. Wayne, IN; Dayton, OH; Austin, TX; Nashville, TN; Clearwater, FL; St. Louis, MO; and have been in the Apopka area for the last several years. All the moves were for work opportunities. My favorite place is Florida. The warmer the weather the better. Like everyone else, my life has been full of ups and downs. But through faith in God and hard work, have always bounced back. We had a very nice boat while living in Clearwater. It was named Perseverance after our lives. We spend much time out on the Gulf exploring islands and sitting back relaxing. It was a great feeling to be able to do this and mostly to relive all of the great memories from this experience. After working the truck sales business for over forty years, I finally got the opportunity to work for Rush Trucks. At Rush I was able to put all my many years of experience to achieve business goals I always wanted. Of course a lot of my personal success came from working with a fantastic group of people at Rush. I loved having a good time and living life to its fullest. I so enjoyed my friends Wade Bosart, Tom Turner, Doug Schaffer, Ray Maxwell and Jerry George. I had wonderful golf outing experiences at top rate courses. Spent time every year at the Nascar event in February. So many memories, love you guys for all the great times. Lynn and I have had a lot of memorable experiences in forty years. Boating, golfing, two trips to Bermuda, teaching Sunday School in Dallas, exploring all the areas we lived in, and so much more. We have always worked as a team and made the “down” times better and lived the “up” times to the fullest. We still had lots of plans left, but God had other plans. I am grateful for everything life has given me. I always thought if I could make just one person laugh, I had a great day. My advice is to live life and love your family and friends with all your heart. Life is so short so “Let the good times roll’ while you can.
