Apopka Fl – David John Brazier, aged 71 passed away with family by his side on October 23, 2021, after a fifteen month fight with glioblastoma (GBM). David was born on January 3, 1950, in Chelmsford, Essex, UK to Daphne (Chapman) and Norman Brazier and was the eldest of three boys.
In 1975, David met Janet Cawston and she would become his wife in 1977. David was educated in the UK and began a career at Marconi’s in Chelmsford, Essex, UK.
In 1981, after applying for a job at General Electric in the USA, he moved his growing family to North Carolina. The family lived in several states until moving back to Florida where they settled until retirement.
David’s career spanned many years, he worked his way up the corporate ladder where he became a top executive at IBM. He finished his career at Bentley Systems, London, UK. David enjoyed traveling with his wife, children and grandchildren and was fortunate to see many beautiful places. He also loved a good Sunday roast accompanied by a few glasses of red wine, he always made sure everyone around him was happy and had a full glass.
David is survived by his wife, Janet, of almost forty-four years, six children, fourteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, his two younger brothers and many, many special friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Daphne and Norman Brazier.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Although I never had the opportunity to meet David, being able to meet Janet and experience her love for him, tells me he was an awesome fun human being.
