David Williams Hamilton passed to his rest on December 3rd 2016, at Apopka Florida.David was born in Atlanta Georgia December 1st 1938. His formal education included Atlanta Union Academy, Forest Lake Academy Florida, and Southern Missionary College in Tennessee. He earned a bachelor's degree with a dual-major in economics and languages graduating with high-honors. Mr. Hamilton served the United Nations as a senior economic affairs officer posted in Europe (Geneva) and Africa (Addis Ababa).He was a gifted linguist, fluent in Spanish and French and was conversant in German, Japanese, and Russian.One of his greatest joys was sailing around the world on the famous German brigantine schooner, the Yankee.David always loved his God, his family, and his country. David enjoyed his relationship with many friends throughout the world. He is survived by one son Elijah, two sisters Grace and Madelyn, and a brother L.E.. David suffered the untimely loss of two of his outstanding son’s David and Jonathan who preceded him in death.Interment will be during a private ceremony at the family cemetery on Amelia Island Florida
