Donald R. Himes, 83, of Tavares, Florida went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2021. Mr. Himes was born on November 27, 1937, in Callensburg, Pennsylvania. He was married to his beautiful wife Julia for 61 years, and together they had four children Jerry (Vania) Himes, Mona (Jose) Luis, Pati (Randy) Gould and Melissa (Allan) Simpson, as well as 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Mr. Himes was a veteran of the US Marine Corps. Our dad loved to spend time with his family. Thank you dad for all the love you brought to our lives & by always being there to lend a hand. You modeled the way for us with your walk with the Lord at being the best husband, dad, gramps and great gramps. We love and miss you and look forward to the day when we will be reunited.
