Edward T McManus Sr. passed away peacefully at his home on January 11, 2023. He is survived by his children Edward T McManus Jr., Elizabeth Mitchell, Christopher McManus, Matthew McManus, his sister Jane Clarke and his loving companion Mary Mitchell. He is also survived by his multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The celebration of life service for Edward T McManus Sr. will be held on Saturday, February 11th 2pm at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection located at 257 East Lake Brantley Drive, Longwood, Florida 32779. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the First Tee of Central Florida.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
