Edwin was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Apopka as a young child where his family owned and operated Ragin’s grocery on Rock Springs Rd. with the help of their two sons. Many friends, neighbors and family hung out there after school sometimes playing cards, battleship, checkers, chess or just running around the property playing tag or ball. He loved swimming and walked to Kelly Park often for a good cold swim. After graduating Apopka High School, he joined the Air Force when returning home he then resided in Salt Springs, Florida with his parents and his Brother Daniel’s family, going fishing and deer hunting. He moved to Longwood, Florida four years ago and worked in the Construction Industry. He is preceded in death by late parents Robert and Marcia Ragin and Brother Daniel Ragin.
