Frank John Wasson, Jr., age 98, of Windermere, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013. Born on November 22, 1914 in Oro Grande, CA, he moved to the Central Florida area in 2007. Mr. Wasson, Jr. was a retired Colonel of the US Army and served in both, World War II and Korea. He received two Purple Hearts, an Army Commendation Medal, a Presidential Unit Citation, and was a holder of the Legion of Merit. Mr. Wasson, Jr. was a lifetime member of Full Gospel Businessman. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sigrid Johnson Wasson.
Mr. Wasson, Jr. is survived by his son, John C. (Joyce) Wasson; and two grandchildren.
