Garrett Anthony Ricci, 67, of Orlando, Florida passed away on November 13, 2024. Mr. Ricci was born on October 08, 1957 he was born to the late John A. Ricci and Dorothy Mae Carruth in Orlando, Florida. He is preceded in death by his stepdad Leonard P. Carruth. Mr. Ricci loved fishing, drag racing and playing darts. He was a hard worker as a welder for many years. He is survived by dear friends Michael and Laura Devasto and many more. He will be dearly missed.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
