I played with Greg as a child. I remember his dad fussing at us for going "down" to the railroad tracks. We got in lots of trouble together! He will be missed. Loves to Ms. Joyce!
Diana Chipps says
Joyce, I know I shared this with you, but my fondest memory of the kids was the time we visited and your boys and my girls went down to the railroad tracks. When Gary found out he was mad and said he would have to punish them. Greg spoke up and said but Dad, you told us not to go DOWN to the tracks, we didn't, we climbed the hill. Gary wanted to laugh so bad but kept it together and told him he got out of a punishment this time but in the future they were not to go down, over, under, up or through to the tracks. I guess he felt he needed to cover all the bases. My heart breaks for you right now and what you are going through because I know how it feels to loose a child. I love you! Your childhood friend, Diana
