James “Jim” Frankovich, 84, of Clermont, Florida passed away on November 07, 2023. Mr. Frankovich was born on September 29, 1942 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Nicholas and Ann Frankovich. Mr. Frankovich is survived by his loving wife Cathy Frankovich; children James (Carly) Frankovich II and Nicole (Robert) Gilmore; as well as his grandchildren Paige Alexis Frankovich, Peyton Alexandria Daigle, Paisley James Frankovich and Piper Jovanna Frankovich. He was a proud military veteran who served 8 years in the United States Navy. He will be dearly missed by his many loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
