James “Jim” Louis Eberling, 79, of Apopka, Florida passed away on June 11, 2023. Mr. Eberling was born on October 16, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late George and Bernice Eberling. Mr. Eberling is preceded in death by his sister Susan Eberling. He is survived by his loving wife Debbie Eberling; children Kelli Price and James (Jodee) G. Eberling; grandchildren Dakotah, Colin, Jimmy and McKenna. He will be missed by his extended family, loved ones and friends.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

I spent many years as a coworker of Jim at Sparrows Point. Always found him to be a very dedicated employee who appreciated his job. Also spent much time discussing motorcycles with him. You have my deepest sympathy of his passing.
