James M. “Mike” Laughlin, age 49, of Mount Dora, passed away on Wednesday, April 02, 2014. He was born on November 03, 1964 in Orlando and was a member of Pine Lakes Baptist Church. Mr. Laughlin was a member of the National Golf Kart Racing Association, Muddy Waters. Org, and Backyard Boys Bike Club.
Mr. Laughlin is survived by his loving mother, Jennifer Rose King of Port Orange; father, Bobby Laughlin of NC; daughters, Amber Dishong of Eustis, Jessica Presley of DeFuniak Springs, and Camryn Laughlin of Eustis; sisters, Ellie White of Mount Dora and Lisa Scott of Laurinburg, NC; and grandson, Bentley Presley.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

I can remember when were in high school it was me ( Jennifer Peacock ), Richard Anderson, Jo, and Mike we all would go to 40 Acres and have bomb fires on the weekends mainly Saturday nights.
