Mr. Jay Dorman Brown

Jay Dorman Brown, 91 of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away on December 22, 2020. Mr. Brown was born on July 20, 1928 in Manhattan, New York. He proudly served in the Merchant Marines and in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He continued to serve in the military in both active service as well as in the U.S. Air Force Reserve for most of his adult life. Upon his retirement, he achieved the rank of a Senior Master Sergeant. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Barbara. He is survived by his two daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was greatly loved and will be missed by his family, and the many friends that he made throughout his adventurous life. He will be interred with his wife Barbara at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims Florida. Mr. Brown’s service has been entrusted to Loomis Family Funeral Home.’
