Jeffrey Jay Perkins, 71, of Apopka, Florida passed away on September 11, 2024. Mr. Perkins was born on September 06, 1953 in Orlando, Florida. He is preceded in death by his children Tiffany Perkins, Clinton Perkins, and Jance Perkins; as well as his sister Peggy Perkins. He is survived by his daughter Esther Fagan-Josey; grandchildren Zachary Schmidt, Quinlan Fagan, Annabelle Fagan and Jancen Fagan; great granddaughter Mia Schmidt; as well as his siblings Timothy Perkins and Pamela Ryan. He will be dearly missed by his many loved ones and friends.
This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
