Rest in Peace uncle Jack. I have fond childhood memories of boat rides around the WinterPark lakes and canals. Was always so much fun to do and was usually the highlight of our family visits.
I also remember the Mystery Fun House well, its mechanical characters and i never did figure out how to navigate thru the room of mirrors.
And you always had the coolest tv and surround sound systems that seemed ahead of the times.
Wishing the best for John, Allie, Devin and Alec during this time of grief.

You hired me as a carpenter at The Mystery Fun House in 1992. I’ll never forget the first day we met. You had no interest in my application, You just wanted to have a conversation. You were always very kind and had a great since of humor. It was an honor to know you. Rest in peace boss.

I never did get to meet you in person but you were always nice enough to help when I was starting the MFH website, just as your son has done.
Many ex-employees have said you were one of the nicest guys to work with. I feel like I was part of it all, even though I was just a fan of a place you helped make famous.
My prayers go out to the family and all his friends for losing such a great person.

He was a very kind person. He was quiet and always had a smile. I don’t remember ever seeing him mad or upset. He was one of the first bosses I ever had. I worked with him at the MFH in 1983-84. My condolences to the family.

My condolences to the family. Jack was amazing he new my grandfather and I didn’t know it at the time when I applied to Mystery Fun House in the 90’s. He said I’d love to hire you but should talk to your grandad first. He gave me my very first job. He also ratted me out to my grandad when I’d go bungee jumping. Such a wonderful, kind, and heartfelt soul. He will be missed by so many.
