Jose Antonio Rodriguez Jr., 82, of Orlando, Florida passed away on April 01, 2019. Mr. Rodriguez was born on November 26, 1936 in Yauco, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife Maria Magdalena Rodriguez; children Maria (Walter) Flores, Jose Antonio (Sonia Gonzalez) Rodriguez Jr. and Sandra Rodriguez; siblings Irma Rodriguez, Nestor Rodriguez, Alicia Rodriguez, Ramon Rodriguez and Edie Rodriguez; grandchildren Walter Flores, Beatriz Flores, Jose A. Flores, Joshua Rodriguez, Jose R. Rodriguez, Damaris Rodriguez and Christopher Rodriguez; great grandchildren Ashley Flores, Anthony Flores, Adrian Flores, Eva Martinez, Edgar Martinez, Jose Flores, Veronica Flores, Felicity Martinez, Amarya Martinez, Isiaha Martinez, Jenessa Martinez and Rome Rodriguez.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
