Kenneth Alan Nelson, 79, of Zellwood, Florida passed away on November 13, 2023. Mr. Nelson was born on June 14, 1944 in Queens, New York to the late Fredrick and Beatrice Nelson. He is preceded in death by his brother Jerry Nelson. He is survived by his loving wife Ellie Nelson; children Tammy Nelson, Debbie Clark and Audra (Joe) Rohland; twin brother Jimmy Nelson; grandchildren Ashley, Philip, Hailey, Chloe and Joseph; great grandchildren 7. As well as his loved ones and friends.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.
