Kevin Lee Starr, 49, of Orlando, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013. He was born April 30, 1964 in Orlando. Kevin was a Truck Driver and a Baptist. Mr. Starr is survived by his loving parents, Raymond and Mary Starr of Orlando; brother, Mike (Toni) Starr of Orlando; nieces, Teah (Jeremy), Tara, Tonya (Ryan); great niece, Jayla and great nephew, Ryland.

This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

Kevin and I became close friends when I moved onto Needles Drive in 11th grade. We had some amazing times together! We ran with a group of friends from the neighborhood, racing our cars around the orange groves, double dating and going to prom. I was so sorry to hear of Kevin's passing.
