Kevin Scott Agner, 53 of Apopka, Florida, passed away May 9, 2016. Kevin was born July 7, 1962 in Youngstown, Ohio and moved to Florida in the mid 70s with his family. Kevin’s love of music and drama lead him to a career in the lighting and sound industry where he worked with multiple touring groups and coordinated numerous conventions across the country for over 30 years. He enjoyed playing his guitar and jamming with friends and was always quick with a smile or joke. He treasured the time he spent with his daughter, who inherited his same love for drama and music. Kevin will now be reunited with his father, Sam Agner, Sr. and mother Bonny. He is survived by his loving daughter Hali of Kissimmee, FL; siblings Shelley (Ron) Hartzell of Deltona, FL; Sam (Carolyn) Agner, Jr. of Apopka, FL, April (David) Minehart of Apopka, FL; Shawn Agner of Okeechobee, FL; Mom Tracy Agner of Apopka, FL, niece Kiley Hartzell of Deltona, FL and nephew Samuel Agner of Louisiana. Kevin will always remain in our hearts and live on in our memories.

I only knew Kevin for approximately 6 months, when he moved in with Tracy. He was a good neighbor. I will miss seeing him in the morning waving and sometimes having a friendly chat. During the time I have known him , he has blown the leaves off my drive way and side walk, pull my garbage can in the yard for me and also cooked some delicious meal of beans and corn bread and brought mean a dish over. I still get up in the morning and look over to Tracy’s, where he normally sits in the garage. He was a nice guy.

Thinking of Kevin so much this week as “Guys and Dolks” and “The Wizard of Oz” played on television this week. Some of the early moments I was so proud of one of his many talents as he played the parts as Nathan Detroit and The Scarecrow. Love and miss you Brother. Shawn
