In loving memory of Larry Wayne Monds, a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and husband. We will miss you until we meet again. He was born on March 4, 1954 in Quincy, Florida, and entered heavenly rest on November 20, 2020 at age 66. He is survived by his loving wife Pamela Todd Monds. His daughter Desiree Rice who was a light in his life, son-in-law Cory Rice, and grandchildren Alonna Monds and Austin Rice. Larry is also survived by his two loving sisters, Janie Bentley (husband Alan Bentley) and Amy Daly (husband James Daly), also his niece and nephews, Audrey Littlefield, John Bentley, and Joe Garcia.
Larry went to Apopka High School, studied at Valencia College, and lived in Zellwood, Florida. He served in U.S. Marine Corps band while stationed in Hawaii and returned home to fulfill his career in music. He was a drummer, vocalist, and songwriter until he retired. In his spare time, he loved playing golf and was a barbeque grill master.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Joyce Monds Angel and Lawrence N. Monds, and stepfather Tom Angel. Larry’s greatest friend and companion was his dog Simond.
Knowing Larry is having the best Christmas ever in heaven with his mama and daddy, gives us great comfort. May you rest in paradise until we meet again…Rock On!
