Watters, Sr., Marcus Lewis, age 83, a lifelong resident of Apopka, Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2013. Marcus was born on May 14, 1930, in Providence, Florida. He was a husband, father, grandfather, educator, businessman, builder, philanthropist, artist and humanitarian. He was also an active member of the First Baptist Church in Apopka and a strong promoter of mission services.
Marcus is survived by his wife, Mary Frances, three children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. The memorial service will be held graveside at Greenwood Cemetery, in Apopka, Florida, on June 19, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Apopka in his name.
