Mark D. Buie, 53, of Umatilla, Florida, went to be with the Lord and his daughter on September 11, 2018. Mark was born April 12, 1965 to Russell and Bonnie Buie of Virginia. Mark met the love of his life Carla when he was 14 years old. They married in April of 1982. Mark and Carla went on to have 4 daughters. Mark then relocated his family to Florida in 1997, where he lived the rest of his life working hard as a mechanic, raising his family and enjoying his race cars. Mark was always into racecars even as a child. He loved to race at the dirt track in Volusia County. He was a hardworking, loving, and strong man who did whatever he needed to for his family. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Carla Buie, daugthers, Misty (Tim), Joann (Kyle), Tiffany (Matt), his mother Bonnie Buie, sister Erika Cole (James), brother Jacob Buie (Annette), all 8 of his grandbabies (as he calls them), and many family and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter Laura Miller, father Russell Buie and grandmother Marjorie Thurston. Mark will be cremated with a private family service.
