My heart goes out to the whole Milmerstadt family. I know Michaels dad since the 5th grade and only got to meet young Michael as a young teen. It seems he turned out to be an amazing human being, father, husband and son. I pray that the sadness that fills your heart today, will eventually fill your heart with memories of love and peace. May He walk with the angels,,and may God bless all of you today and the days that lie ahead

Mike, it’s truly so hard to believe that you’re gone. I remember going through early adult hood with you, Melanie, Steven, Diego, Brian and all of the amazing times spent with you all. All you ever wanted was to be a Deputy, be apart of OCSO Swat and to have a family. Although you’re no longer here in our presence, you set goals and achieved them all which everyone is truly proud of. You’re a true hero and will always be remembered as such. Your memory and honor will forever be carried out by your friends, colleagues, family and three boys. I know everyone who was impacted has a long journey ahead of them, and it’s truly so hard to imagine them living a life without your physical presence beside them, but we know you are there in spirit and always in their hearts. Rest easy, Mike. Love to all of you and prayers of healing to the ones that will be living on without you.

Had the honor to share mat, share the spotlight with Mike a few times. A true honor. Such a talented young man, and after reading a bit about him here recently, it vindicated what I felt about him long ago. A good soul he was, a good man. My heart truly goes out to his children, his family. Rest in peace brother, champion.
