Kelly, my heart hurts over Mike’s passing. What a remarkable guy and dear friend! His love for you and the boys was obvious. Mike’s positive attitude, fun personality, and faith in God touched thousands. I’m proud that Mike and your entire family have long been a vital part of the Mt. Dora Christian Academy (“Mt. Dear Judy,
This is Jim Touchton and I am so sorry for your loss. I have great memories of both of your boys but I guess through the years I lost touch. Helen and I have made an appointment to visit my daughter in Ocala-otherwise I would have been at the service for you and to see David again. I am sure he is a fine man as well as Mike. I will try to make a contribution in Mike’s name to the babe Ruth scholarship fund of either Sorrento or Mt. Dora but I am not very good on a computer. If I can’t get it done online I will in person. I have always considered you a friend and will always! I will continue to pray for you in the coming weeks and months. I did try to call you but I guess I got an out of date number. I will find a better number and call you soon. Give my best to David and I’m sorry I can’t be there.
Allen and Mary Higginbotham says
Judy. I never met Mike but our heart goes out to you in the loss of your child. We too lost our oldest daughter. It is not supposed to happen that way but the Lord does comfort and He will give you
strength, comfort and peace during this difficult time. We miss you.

I have had you all in my thoughts and prayers since the passing of Mike. With all of us growing up in the neighborhood, church, school, etc… he was always a true friend. Sorry to have not reached out to you all sooner. Sending my love, prayers and peace
