Nathaniel Albonico, Jr., 81, of Apopka, Florida, passed away November 29, 2013. He was born January 9, 1932 in East Paterson/Elmwood Park to Nathaniel Sr. and Ann (Forlai) Albonico. Nat worked for Metropolitan Life for over 26 years. He served honorably in the US Army during the Korean War. Nat was an avid golfer, devoted husband and father. He enjoyed painting, crossword puzzles and reading. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce (Miranti) Albonico; sons, Nathaniel Albonico, III and his wife Kerri of Fair Lawn, NJ, Darryl Albonico and his wife Sharon of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ; daughter Rosanne (Albonico) Stoffregen and her husband Robert of Apopka; four grandchildren, Amanda, DJ, Kyle and Kristen; brother, Harry and wife Dolly of Elmwood Park, NJ; brother-in-law, Joseph and wife Karen Sagliano of Mt. Prospect, IL. He will forever be in our thoughts, hearts and prayers. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
