Mr. Patrick J. Billings

Patrick James Billings was born in Orlando, Florida on March 11, 1984. A daredevil from birth, it wasn’t long before his adventures and shenanigans led him to earn the nickname “Mr. Booboohead,” after becoming a frequent visitor to the emergency department for bumps, bruises and the occasional stitch. While not performing feats of physical daring, Patrick was disassembling alarm clocks, VCRs, and anything else he was left alone with to figure out how they worked (much to the chagrin of his parents!). Patrick’s curiosity and fearlessness led him through a variety of professional pursuits before he finally found his calling in training to become an electrician as a member of the IBEW Local 606 Apprentice school. After an arduous five years in the Apprenticeship School, Patrick was proud to be graduating with his brothers and sisters this summer.

Patrick made fast friends everywhere he went, he had a personality that would light up a room and make everyone feel special. Few people have the capacity to touch lives like Patrick did for so many, but this was never more the case than in his relationship with his beloved children. Patrick lived for his kids and would do anything for them; despite long hours and overtime, Patrick was a devoted father who committed every part of himself to being their rock and their safety net.

Patrick is survived by his two beloved children, Killian and Declan; his mother Dina, and father, Danny; his brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Jessica; his sister and brother-in-law, Jacqueline and Bryan; his grandparents, Herb and Bonnie; his nieces and nephews, Madeline, Ainsley, Jackson, William and Harrison, and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. In addition, Patrick is survived by his girlfriend Carly, with whom he was planning a future. Patrick is also survived by another important family: his brothers and sisters in the IBEW 606 union family, who he was so proud to call his friends.
