The world lost a one-of-a-kind, brilliant, compassionate, loving, hilarious, enthusiastically joyful, talented, incredibly knowledgeable, and charismatic soul on November 11, 2024. The words here to describe Paul will fall short of his personal and professional accomplishments but, his trust in God and love for life and his family will echo throughout eternity.
He loved his family and dog, T’Challa, more than anything with Pink Floyd and Lord of the Rings tying for second. Paul, a London-born Renaissance man, who began most of his storytelling with the words “Back in England….”, could recall a historical fact in the blink of an eye and whip up a delicious meal with the most random assortment of ingredients including his own hot sauce recipe and the best curry you’ll ever have. He loved watching the news, rocking out to all genres of music, and had a green thumb. He was inspired by his own dad in the area of cooking, dedication to family, and character. Paul was overwhelmingly cheerful, enthusiastic, selfless, and innovative. He wanted to be remembered for being a loving father, an adoring husband, a world traveler, and for being super proud of all of his children.
He found his forever love in his wife, Angie, and their romance and dedication to one another was often referenced as being one another’s “My sun and stars” and the “Moon of my life” from the beloved Game of Thrones. He lovingly assured his wife Angie that he will be waiting for her when she arrives in Heaven.
Paul is survived by his wife, Angie, his daughter, Brianna, his sons, Colten, Cameron, and Ashley, his grandsons, Kailan and Jasper, many brothers and sisters, his mother-in-law Bridgette, with countless extended family, who he loved dearly. He had so many friends from his time working as a Cruise Director and an award-winning car salesman. He never met a stranger and knew how to make everyone smile, laugh, and feel truly valued. Paul is now with his family and loved ones who have gone before him in Heaven. His family will do their best to honor his legacy, memory, and spirit.
Paul did not want others to mourn at his funeral; he wanted it to be a celebration, and a party *cue Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here”*.
To quote Paul, “I wouldn’t change a thing. I have no regrets.”
