Paul Orlyn Harder, our "Pito" passed peacefully and unexpectedly in his sleep Wednesday, December 10th, 2014. He was well loved by family, friends, IBM family of 38 years, his Jaguar Club, and his neighbors, all of whom have amazing, quirky, and fun stories to tell about him and his "dorky dad" sense of humor. We can't imagine the ways he will show up in our lives in spirit, however we all have enjoyed the hints of him that have shown even in the first weeks of his passing. He loved "happy hour" sunsets on his lake, cruising on Jag "prowls" in his 1952 XK120 Jaguar, popping targets on Tuesdays at Shoot Straight, and adventuring with his beloved "little buddy," Gizmo. He shared a love of photography and nature with his daughters, long talks with his son about toys, guns and cars, and a deep friendship with the mother of his daughters, Ruby. He is deeply missed and survived by his children Evelyn Dufner, Dunedin, FL, Monica Van Hall, Williams, CA, Heinz Simoneit, Redding CA; mother of his children Ruby Soderberg, Spring Valley, CA; siblings Ruth Rudesill and James Harder of San Diego, CA.
