Randall “Randy” Paul Price
January 17, 1975 – March 15, 2021
Apopka, Florida – Randy Price was born on January 17, 1975 and passed away at 46 years of age, working in the Roller Coaster Industry in Abu Dhabi, United Arab of Emirates on March 15, 2021. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland. His family moved to Stevensville, MD at the age of six. He graduated Queen Anne’s County High School in 1993. He married the love of his life, Cindy in 1999.
Randy was a self-taught engineer. He started in the industry working as a machinist at NRL in Stevensville, MD. In 1997 he joined Oceaneering International for many years building roller coasters, then he transitioned to Dynamic Attractions as a Senior Ride System Engineer. He was very passionate, ensuring the families that visited the amusement park had fun and remained safe. Randy had a way of forming a rapid and deep connection with people. Everyone around Randy could not help but admire and respect him. He was a natural leader effortlessly mentoring those around him. One of his friends referred to Randy as man’s man, dedicated to the task at hand even if it took 20 trips to home depot to complete the project.
His passions in life were being a devoted husband, godfather, and furbaby daddy. Randy was a fun-loving guy that loved motorcycles, race cars, roller coasters, building computers, building guns, and any task that involved the computer and gaming world.
Randy is predeceased by his Mother, Sharon Price. He is survived by his Wife, Cindy of 21 years, Father, Paul Price. Sister, Sheree Horney (Mike) Nephews, Michael, Jacob, and Joseph. Father and Mother-in-Law, Ben and Bev Severson. Sister -in- laws, Sandy Boyles (Kenny), Lori Knopp (Mike). Niece, Erin, Nephews, Josh, Chase and Jason along with many relatives and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be Tuesday March 30 th , 2021.
5 – 8pm service begins at 6 pm.
