Randy Scott Phillips, age 48, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013. Born on January 11, 1965 in Orlando, he was a lifelong resident of Orlando and Lockhart. Randy will be greatly missed! He is survived by his wife, Tabitha Phillips; mother and stepfather, Gloria and Vance Smith; daughters, Courtney Phillips-Estrada and Lindsey Watson; sons, Brandon and Christopher Phillips; stepchildren, Tiffany and Travis Towner; sister, Shelly Phillips Roberts; brother, Ryan Phillips; stepsister, Sherrie Heyser; grandchildren, McKenzie Phillips, Lukas Estrada, Victoria Phillips, and Jace Phillips; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A Celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 3:00 PM at 6501 Bywood Road, Orlando, FL 32810. This heritage started 67 years ago with Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, who founded the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, Florida, in 1934. In 1938 Francis E. Loomis, son of Pastor Herbert F. Loomis, received his license to practice Mortuary Science and in 1941 established Loomis Funeral Home of Winter Garden, FL.

My most precious memory of Randy was and always will be the two times I gave birth to his children-when our son was born he cried and told me he was so proud of me and he looked at that boy with more love than I could ever imagine. When we had our daughter he was happy for a little girl but sad because she born without the roof to her mouth "just like him" that weighed on him and he blamed himself-she is a beautiful 27 year old woman now-Randy as your ex-wife I pray you knew that although we didn't make it I still loved and cherished the memories and the children we shared with each other. Your life meant something to me and always will-Sandy
